Overview

AMI (American Megatrends International) is a firmware company whose products span the full data center infrastructure stack: UEFI firmware (Aptio), baseboard management controllers (MegaRAC BMC), and platform security (Tektagon). The company is an active OCP contributor, offering community editions of all three product lines. AMI has expanded its portfolio into rack-scale and data center management through its RMC (Rack Management Controller) and DCM (Data Center Manager) products, positioning the firmware layer as the policy enforcement point for neo-cloud and hyperscale operators managing heterogeneous hardware.
