Overview

Indian biosimilars company with manufacturing in Bangalore and Johor Bahru managing complex supply chains for biologics including insulin and biosimilar mAbs, pursuing a scale-out strategy and SAP transformation for supply reliability. Biocon Biologics operates two large manufacturing facilities in Bangalore, India and one in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with validated and qualified capacity pursuing a scale-out model of multiple smaller bioreactors feeding single downstream operations rather than scaling up vessel size. Biocon Biologics re-amalgamated its biosimilar biologics division with its parent company's small molecule generic portfolio (GLP-1s, statins, anti-rejection medicines) as of April 1, 2026.
