Bioprocessing
Overview
Bioprocessing is the manufacture of biologic therapies, the central focus of the Danaher Summit. Blair characterized bioprocessing as mature in that tools for productivity and robustness such as intensification, automation, PAT, and digital systems already exist, yet adoption at scale remains harder than expected. Friction points in bioprocessing are increasingly organizational and cultural as much as technical: tech transfer breaks across sites, data systems are disconnected, and workforce capability lags process complexity.
