Overview

ByteDance is a major internet technology company that operates large-scale AI training infrastructure. In the networking domain, ByteDance has been an early adopter and production deployer of scheduled Ethernet fabric technology, deploying their first production cluster with 1,280 xPU cards at 400GE in June 2024. The company is also driving open standardization through the Open Scheduled Fabric (OSF) initiative and co-developing adaptive routing enhancements with Broadcom for multi-tier AI fabric topologies operating at up to 128K GPUs.
