Overview

Chris Marriott is VP & GM of Enterprise Platforms at NVIDIA, responsible for NVIDIA's enterprise server and computing platform portfolio. At OCP Global Summit 2025 he served as a panelist on the Lenovo Neptune session, articulating NVIDIA's perspective on the AI infrastructure scaling trajectory and the foundational role of liquid cooling. He outlined the shift from 100K-GPU training clusters toward ~1M GPUs, introduced disaggregated inference via Rubin CPX + Dynamo (separate prefill and decode racks), and predicted that rack power will trend from 130 kW today toward 1 MW over a 5-10 year horizon — making liquid cooling non-negotiable. He also identified time to first token as the defining next performance challenge for AI data center operators.
