Overview

The OCP data center NVMe SSD specification defines the requirements for NVMe SSDs used in data centers. It reached version 2.6 as a 2024 milestone of the OCP storage project and underpins the more than 20 SSDs now listed on the OCP Marketplace. Buyers can locate compliant drives via the Marketplace by asking "where can I get these drives based on the OCP data center NVMe SSD spec?" Feedback on the specification is coordinated through Mike Allison via the OCP CLA process.
