Inventec
Overview
Inventec is a Taiwan-based ODM founded in 1975 with USD 20.1B annual revenue, USD 1.2B paid-up capital, 30,000+ global employees, and 6,500+ engineers. The company produces approximately 200 million devices per year: 44 million cloud infrastructure units (AI servers, general-purpose servers, network devices), 70 million computing devices (AI PCs, notebooks, gaming laptops, medical PCs), and 88 million smart devices (mobile, healthcare, wearables). Inventec manufactures for major cloud service providers in North America and China from factories spanning Taiwan, Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand), Mexico, USA, and Europe.
Beyond traditional ODM manufacturing, Inventec has developed a Physical AI Three-Computer DevKit — a proof-of-concept rack cluster implementing NVIDIA's three-computer architecture using Inventec Edge IGX Orin nodes, P90G6 OVX simulation servers, and an OCP DC-MHS compliant EdgePro management node (Intel Xeon 6). The cluster is Kubernetes-orchestrated in multiples of three, scaling from a two-rack MVP to larger configurations. Inventec demonstrated the system at OCP Global Summit 2025 booth B50 (San Jose Convention Center) and is deploying it in its own factories with pilots underway with medical and railroad customers.
