Juniper Networks

Overview

Juniper Networks, now part of HPE (acquired 2024), is an AI-native networking vendor whose QFX switches, PTX routers, and operational platforms (Apstra, Mist/Marvis AI) serve AI data center fabrics. Juniper holds the Gartner leadership position in data center switching and ranks second in the AI fabric use case behind NVIDIA. The company uses a dual silicon strategy (merchant and custom silicon running common Junos software) for supply chain resilience.

Juniper was among the first companies to submit MLPerf networking results to ML Commons, and its Marvis AI platform provides predictive optics failure detection and agentic troubleshooting capabilities.
