Overview

Luxshare-Tech is a vertically integrated connector and cable backplane manufacturer with over 10 years of OEM experience and more than 300 million differential pair shipments in cable backplane products since 2019. The company produces contacts, molds, bulk cable (the Optamax 224G twinax family, 26–31 AWG, 92 ohm), and full cable cartridge assemblies in-house with fully automated processes across a globally diversified manufacturing footprint.

At OCP Global Summit 2025, Luxshare-Tech announced the Intrepid NEXUS 224G+ backplane connector system — a 2.4×2.4 mm pitch design delivering 80 differential pairs per square inch, validated to 53 GHz (with a path to 75 GHz), and achieving a total bump-to-bump channel budget of 24.13 dB at 53 GHz in its full solution stack (KOOLIO 224G CPC + Optamax 31 AWG twinax + Intrepid NEXUS). Samples were available in Q3 2025 with mass production planned shortly after. The Intrepid product roadmap covers three generations: EVO (112G), APEX (224G high-density), and NEXUS (targeting 448G, TBD).
