Novo Nordisk

Overview

Danish pharmaceutical company developing two next-generation hemophilia treatments: a high-affinity anti-TFPI antibody (daily dosing) and Mim8, a bispecific bridging factor IX and X projected at 20-50 mg once-monthly pen injector dosing and BLA submission within 5 years of Phase 1 start. Novo Nordisk developed a high-affinity anti-TFPI antibody for hemophilia requiring daily dosing and dose adjustment due to more severe TMDD than mastacimab, with similar efficacy outcomes between the two molecules. Novo Nordisk's Mim8 is a bispecific antibody bridging factor IX and factor X analogous to emicizumab but far more potent, with projected 20-50 mg doses delivered once monthly via pen injector; it progressed from Phase 1 start in 2020 to BLA submission in under five years.
