Personalized CRISPR therapy is a bespoke gene-editing treatment manufactured per patient. A personalized CRISPR therapy for an infant was manufactured in six months, about three times faster than standard timelines, but required regulators and partners to make exceptions, making it an N-of-1 not repeatable by default.
