Overview

Radical AI is a materials science company that combines closed-loop AI with robotics to accelerate materials discovery. Radical AI's primary target market is the aerospace industry, where oxidation performance, hardness, and ductility are critical specifications. Krause identified a key structural gap: unlike biology's Protein Data Bank, no equivalent curated dataset exists for materials science, leading Radical AI to build a proprietary materials data flywheel.
