Overview

Tencent is a Chinese technology conglomerate and hyperscaler operating large-scale AI training infrastructure. In the networking domain, Tencent has deployed telemetry-based load balancing using Broadcom's IFA (In-band Flow Analyzer) technology in production HPC networks scaling from 64K to 256K GPUs. The company developed TCCL (Tencent Collective Communication Library), analogous to NVIDIA's NCCL, for optimized GPU-to-GPU collective communication.
