Overview

Charlie Ho is VP of Strategy at Micas Networks, where CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) is his primary product area of responsibility. He was a panelist at the CPO & LPO executive session at OCP Global Summit 2025. Micas Networks' CEO Andrew was previously chief architect at Tencent and began first-generation CPO work three to five years before the OCP 2025 panel; the current 51.2T generation is second-generation CPO, targeted for deployment in the thousands. Charlie Ho forecasts 25–30% CPO penetration for the current 51.2T generation as a thrilling success.
