Full-Chain Liquid Cooling

Overview

Full-Chain Liquid Cooling is an approach to direct-to-chip cooling system deployment that covers the complete supply chain from chip provider and server manufacturer through to the end-user data center operator, under a single vendor's design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance responsibility. Envicool introduced this framework at OCP Global Summit 2025 as a three-pillar strategy:

  1. Full ecosystem integration — components spanning cold plates, quick disconnects (QDs), manifolds, CDUs, secondary piping, coolants, and control systems — ensuring seamless interoperability across the entire liquid cooling chain.
  2. Full application scenario coverage — tooling and solutions for all three operational phases: production line (e.g., automated test tools for liquid-cooled server manufacturing), lab testing (load banks, R&D validation rigs), and data center O&M tools.
  3. Full lifecycle management — all product design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance performed in-house, minimizing customer complexity and ensuring end-to-end reliability accountability.

The framework is motivated by the observation that reliability in liquid cooling is not only a component-level property but requires managing the entire lifecycle from chip to facility.
