OCP OAM Module

Overview

The OCP Open Accelerator Module (OAM) is an OCP-standardized form factor for integrating high-performance AI accelerators — such as NVIDIA HGX B200/B300 8-GPU modules — into rack servers. OAM Module solutions target the "very large model" tier (10B–1T parameters, e.g. LLaMA 70B and 405B), sitting between the cost-effective PCIe card GPU tier (<10B parameters) and the full-stack rack solution (>1T parameters). OAM module servers deliver higher density and power efficiency than PCIe card solutions while keeping system cost and integration complexity lower than full-stack rack deployments. Both liquid and air cooling configurations are supported.

In Aivres's lineup, the OAM Module Solution is represented by the KR9288 (10U AC) and KR5288 (5U DLC), each supporting two Intel Xeon 6 or AMD EPYC CPUs up to 500W TDP alongside the NVIDIA HGX accelerator modules.
