PCIe 6

Overview

PCIe 6 (PCIe Gen 6) is the sixth generation of the PCI Express interconnect standard, running at 64 GT/s per lane — double the 32 GT/s of PCIe 5. The PCIe 6 specification enables high-bandwidth fabric switches and scale-up networks within and across AI server racks. Astera Labs' Scorpio family of PCIe 6 fabric switches are the first production-deployed PCIe 6 switches in data centers, validated through over a year of testing at the company's Cloud-Scale Interop Lab before customer deployment.
