RISE

Overview

RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) is a Swedish state-owned research institute that provides applied research, testing, and certification services. In the data center domain, RISE leads the HDINI (High Density INfrastructure Initiative) project, a Vinnova-funded consortium targeting the design of a European 1 MW liquid-cooled rack. The project brings together major industrial partners including Castrol, Alfa Laval, Ericsson, ABB, Grundfos, Perstorp, Hitachi Energy, FläktGroup, and academic institutions (Chalmers University, Lulea University).
