Overview

Royal is an engineer at TCT (Thermal Control Technology) who presented the company's work on water-based coolant for ICT liquid cooling systems at the OCP Global Summit 2025 (San Jose, CA, October 13–17). Royal presented a comparative technical analysis of pure water coolant versus formulated coolant, introduced TCT's medium purification module (MPM) as the key enabling technology, and summarized a five-year China verification project. Royal and TCT concluded from that project — a Core Switch Server Liquid Cooling System running from July 2018 to June 2023 in Guizhou Province — that pure water coolant is suitable for IT liquid cooling and recommended it as the best choice for MLCP (Modular Liquid Cooling Platform) deployments.
