SNIA

Overview

SNIA (Storage Networking Industry Association) is the storage industry standards body and an OCP Alliance partner. As of October 2025, SNIA was actively reviewing a Solidigm-submitted draft specification for liquid-cooled SSDs — addressing surface flatness tolerances, cold plate attachment surface guidance, and angled edge geometry for hot-swap insertion — representing the first industry-level standardization effort for SSD liquid cooling mechanical and thermal interfaces.
