UALink Consortium

Overview

The UALink Consortium is an industry standards body developing UALink, the only open standard purpose-built for GPU scale-up networking. As of October 2025, the consortium is actively developing new capabilities including in-network collectives, a UCIe-based IO chiplet, confidential compute support, and software ecosystem manageability. Intel and Astera Labs are both board-level promoter members of the consortium, enabling them to drive the specification direction. UALink delivers 200 Gbps per direction (800 Gbps full-duplex in x4 configuration) with memory-semantic load/store/atomic operations and scalability to 1,024 GPUs.
