Overview

Dr. Chen — referred to as "Dr. Chain" in the OCP presentation transcript — is the Chief AI Scientist at Hon Hai Research Institute (Foxconn). He delivered the technical depth of the FoxBrain presentation at the OCP Global Summit 2025, covering the model's architecture, training pipeline, distributed compute strategy, benchmarks, and applications. Dr. Chen presented FoxBrain's four-block iterative training loop (Data Engine, Model Algorithm, Cluster infrastructure, and Evaluation), explained the role of tensor and pipeline parallelism in enabling 70B-parameter training on Foxconn's 100 MW cluster, and described post-training approaches referencing NVIDIA Nemotron and DeepSeek-R1 as reference pipelines before introducing Foxconn's own adaptive RLAIF-based approach.
