Overview

MiTAC Computing Technology Corp. is an OEM and ODM specializing in end-to-end AI server and rack design, integration, and manufacturing. As of 2025, MiTAC manufactures 3,000 racks per month across 13+ MW of global facilities spanning North America, EMEA, Southeast Asia, China, and Taiwan, and supports up to 480 VAC power and 800 Gb/s networking environments.

At OCP Global Summit 2025, MiTAC showcased its 64-GPU liquid-cooled AI cluster solution: eight 4U G4826Z5 AMD MI355X servers in a 48U EIA rack (H 2258mm × W 800mm × D 1400mm) with a 4RU in-rack CDU, a backend 64×400G leaf switch, a frontend 32×400G leaf switch, and a zero-U rear PDU. This scales to a 256-GPU pod (four 64-GPU racks with centralized management, storage, and switching on an in-row CDU). MiTAC estimates approximately 80% of general enterprise customers can be served by the single 64-GPU cluster rack. For leak management, the Rack Management Controller (RMC) monitors water detection cables and issues IPMI commands to shut down servers within 5 or 30 minutes of a leakage threshold breach.
