Mike Hendricks

Overview

Mike Hendricks is Associate Vice President of Solutions and Ecosystem at Astera Labs, a fabless semiconductor company focused on connectivity solutions for cloud and AI infrastructure. At OCP Global Summit 2025, Hendricks joined Intel's Saurabh Kulkarni on stage to present UALink as the open standard for GPU scale-up networking. He described UALink delivering 200 Gbps per direction (800 Gbps full-duplex in x4) with memory-semantic semantics, scaling to 1,024 GPUs. Both Astera Labs and Intel are board-level promoter members of the UALink Consortium, having collaborated pre-silicon on co-emulation and post-silicon on validation and In-Rack architecture commercialization.
