Delta Electronics

Overview

Delta Electronics has been the world's leading provider of power and cooling solutions for over five decades. In partnership with NVIDIA, Meta, Microsoft, and Google, Delta co-developed the 800 VDC power infrastructure standard to address IT rack power loads exceeding 1 MW, where 50 VDC would require impractical 20,000 A bus bar currents. Delta's 800 VDC in-row power rack accepts three 200 A AC busway drops, splitting them into 4×50 A feeds for power shelves producing 106 kW (19-inch, 4 PSU) or 180 kW (21-inch, 6 PSU). The DC-to-DC converter in the IT rack converts 800 V to 50 V at 108 kW in 1U—three times the power density of previous HPR shelf designs. On the liquid cooling side, Delta's roadmap includes a 1.5 MW stacked in-row CDU (Q1 2026) and a 2.4 MW 800 VDC native in-row liquid-to-liquid CDU with an in-house DC pump (Q3 2026).
