Wonguk Kim

Overview

Wonguk Kim is a hardware tech team leader at Rebellions, a South Korean AI chip startup. He co-presented with Thomas Mermans (Samsung Foundry) at OCP Global Summit 2025 in San Jose, covering Rebellions' chiplet-based AI accelerator strategy and the four-party AI CPU chiplet platform developed with Arm, Samsung Foundry, and ADTechnology. Kim articulated the chiplet-based design approach as essential for timely and cost-effective AI chip development, enabling Rebellions to keep pace with rapid AI innovation cycles.
